DEPVAR.INC  ‑      INCLUDE file for common variables used with the DEPFLUX block of subroutines

     Once the source files have been compiled successfully, and object (.OBJ) files have been generated for each source file, the model is ready to be linked and an executable file created.  The Microsoft executable file on the SCRAM BBS was linked using a memory overlay manager so that only certain portions of the code are resident in memory at any given time.  This allows for a more efficient use of available memory by the model, and therefore allows for larger runs to be performed than would be possible without using overlays.  This is accomplished with the following command line for the linker provided with the Microsoft compiler:
